For many older cars there are LPG systems available. Usually a simple vaporizer/regulator is chosen in combination with a venturi mixing piece. These LPG systems are usually available for very attractive low prices. Much used vaporizers are OMVL R90/E, Lovato RGE80 vacuum, Landi or other type.

For many American, European and Asian cars the well-known Impco systems are available. The Impco mixer is dosing the quantity of gas as a kind of constant vacuum carburettor, depending on the amount of air which is drawn in by the engine.

This will allow quick response to the accelerator. These unregulated systems can be used until about 1990, because after this the legislation requires that regular (G2) systems should be placed.
